At first glance this appears to be nice sidewalk art. But, when you click for larger view it's upsetting. I don't think tourists are bad people just curious and interested. Hope all is well.
A lot of states/countries actually have this attitude toward tourists. Really, they're outsiders. And history shows that people don't like outsiders. Eh.
