Cousin Love

Sofia, your two cousins upstairs Loooove you to pieces!! Zia can't get enough of you every time you are around. We laid you down on the sumo upstairs yesterday and she squealed with delight every touch she got of you... Your hair, your fingers, your toes, your belly button. She got right up close and looked you in the eyes. I think she sees her future playmate and is ready for you now!

Your cousin, P, loves you too! Whenever he sees you through the living room window he stands on the sidewalk beside himself with adoration for how freaking cute you are (hope he feels the same way when you are into everything he's doing and trying to get every toy he has!) Yesterday he so wanted to hold you, but you were only to be held and bounced. Maybe next time you could take a break from moving and sit with P? He'd love that!

Naked Baby Sun Time

Naked baby time plus a little tummy time photos here. The sun has been shining here in Portland. Very brightly (on our walk this morning, Sofia darted her head into the wrap every time we stepped out of the shade and into the sun... I guess she's a true Portlander - loves the clouds over the sunshine. At least she is for now! I'm sure she'll grow to appreciate the sun - which is what Portland has done for me! I've always loved the sun, but now, winters of cloudiness and rainy days make the sunny days or hours or minutes GLORIOUS.) I decided to give her bum a little sun time yesterday on the couch. She just loves loves loves her naked baby time. Now that we are ECing, she gets it multiple times a day (at least half naked baby time... I usually leave the top on her because she cries when I have to put it back on at the end and the house is just a bit too chilly to leave her without long sleeves on). 

I had to get a photo of that sweet bum! I love her little bum, and I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but especially because it was the part of her body that I could feel all squishy when she was in the womb.

Pink Tutu

I had to share this quick photo we made as a birthday wish. The cute top came from her Aunt Micki and Uncle Blaine and as soon as we got it I knew it had to be worn with Sofia's pink tutu!

Brooklyn Chocolate Meets Portland Coffee

Mast Brothers of Brooklyn made a chocolate bar using Stumptown Coffee from Portland. Kendra sent me 2 bars - one for me to enjoy now and one to share with her when she comes in March (a little over 2 months from now!!!)
