Pear Thief

And so it begins. I tried to share my pear with Sofia, but she wanted it. For. Her. Self. And a little "fit" was involved. Girl knows what she wants. And she lets me know too! She got the pear, and I may or may not have taken almost 70 photos of her eating it.

Summer Evening Walks

The best part of summer is the late sunsets. After dinner (& on "hot" days, after the heat has passed), we head to Laurelhurst Park for some dog watching and grass playing. Sometimes we even hit up the swings. Next summer, we'll have to go to the playground too.

Sofia always heads out to explore and find another group to hang out with. Here she's coming back from checking out the picnicers you see in the background.

The "ghost leap" as Daddy calls it, caught in action.

Sweet Sofia, you were mistaken for a boy a few times tonight. It's the polka dots I guess. We just giggled.

We stopped to see the ladies on the way home. We haven't been down in a while. There were two new ones in the cage.

Red's still our favorite. Although it looks like she's lost a few feathers around her neck area.

Naked Book Reading

These photos were taken a couple weeks ago while Sofia was investigating the book set that her Grandma Mimi got her during our family trip. I love the way she's exploring it and then the way she realizes she is getting her photo taken and decides to come try to figure out the camera. Oh and that cute little nakey bum is pretty sweet too!
