The Easter Bunny stopped by to visit Sofia with a spring basket of goodies. A good number of those goodies were also sent to her from her Nana and Papa in Kansas. It reminded me of how we'd get clothes for Easter from our Grandma and Grandpa too. Can't wait to put Sofia in those brightly colored spring outfits! (NOTE: The Reeses were for Seth ;)
I think Sofia enjoys her bunny. I sewed it for her and it has many flaws. I've got to sew a couple more for practice, but this one still makes her happy despite it's flaws!
Reading a book with furry dogs and cats. (She loves these books Nana!)
Sofia is way too little to get the whole egg hunt, but luckily for us, P and Z are just upstairs and we share a backyard, so egg hiding was on!
Hiding eggs was WAY too much fun! And watching them search was even more fun!
Zia may or may not be holding an empty bottle of...
P realized quickly that there were coins in the eggs. We encouraged him to help Zia figure out there were coins in her eggs. This was primarily because we were pulling a prank on P. We filled Z's eggs with quarters, nickels, and dime, and in P's eggs, we put pennies!
Haha! It was so funny watching him as he continued to get pennies and Z continued to get larger coins! This prank was inspired by his orneriness from the night before. He stopped by to let me know he was going out for ice cream. He made sure to really rub it in since he knows I'm off dairy.
How cute is her little yellow spring dress!? It was her mama's! So sweet!
And of course, backyard time isn't complete without a few slugs and worms.
The blooms in the trees were magnificent against the blue sky!
Showing Uncle Seth her magic trick: "Where'd it go?"
And Uncle Seth showing off his magic trick... He had to revise it and not pull it from her ear just in case she tried to repeat his trick and put things in her ear to pull it out. Ohhhh toddlerhood. We'll know you soon enough!
RIP Sluggy Slug. You made a little girl very happy at the end of your life!
NOTE: Sofia was missing in all the egg hunt photos. She snoozed right through the fun. We spent the rest of our day outside enjoying the wonderful weather and family.
