When we discussed where we'd be moving to after New York, Seth really wanted to live close to mountains for snowboarding (& hiking... Oh and camping - maybe even this summer ;). When we were in college, we'd try to go every winter with our ebay second hand gear. Now that we are real adults, we decided to hook Seth up with all new gear. Luckily, we found a sports shop downtown (US Outdoor Sports) that was running HUGE sales on all their snowboarding gear (cause it's spring and who's still snowboarding?! Seth and all those other NW-erners loving long seasons of boarding!) It was perfect timing. A winter storm hit the mountain starting Sunday morning and Seth and Ethan hit the slopes and enjoyed the fresh powder. Seth said it was the best powder he's ever boarded on! I'm so happy it's so easy for him to go up to the mountain for a day of boarding. (I see a season pass in his future!)
