Tomorrow, I'll be back to work and everything will probably be back to normal by the end of the week... but I'm sure I'll think back over our last week and the visit from my stepmom. I have a few more posts to add from her trip, including the Botanical Gardens, Central Park, our sweet treats at Magnolia Bakery, and a few other fun moments we shared!

Treasures
My stepmom left Saturday morning. I think I've been moping around since. The end of June/beginning of July was the last time I spent time with my family (except for the 2 day-trip visits from Dad last summer). I saw almost everyone (at our wedding) and then moved states away to New York. Seth and I have gotten into our lives here in the city, and I think I did a really good job of not quite realizing how much I really missed my family. (Maybe some more of you should come visit soon -- let me know if you are interested. I have dates in April, July, and August!!! Plane tickets for April weren't too bad last I checked... HINT! HINT!)

Here are a few of the treasures Mom found while here (minus the button, it fell of her sweater). She also found the fun red pot these treasures are placed in. Some of those rocks are from the Brooklyn Bridge Park, others from Central Park.
